Cross Country

For 3 years of high school I was in cross country. Initially I disliked sports and the like, but once sophomore year came around I joined both swimming and cross country. It was a great choice because I got into shape relatively quickly, but sadly I had no time for anything outside of school. My time management was just as terrible then as it is now. I've never been good at managing my time. I ran nearly 2 hours every single day as practice, and as you would assume, all that running took a toll on my knees. Unfortunately towards the end of senior year I was forced to stop running and quit cross country because the pain was really bad. Ever since then I haven't really ran all that much and the pain has died down quite a bit. There are some days that are bad, but it's nothing a little aspirin won't fix. I kinda regret running so much, but in hindsight it was a great experience and I would do it all again.

NRA AD: Freedom's Safest Place | The Violence Of Lies

Image
The ad starts off with a woman (Dana Loesch) talking about (liberals) and how they influence the media to make people believe lies. This appeals to ethos because she is explaining to the audience on how groups (such as ANTIFA) in America are causing havoc across the country. As she is talking, the video has multiple pictures and videos as examples of what she is talking about. This obviously appeals most to pathos, because it appeals to emotion, and makes you feel disgusted. The last method of persuasion, logos, is supported by her saying the only way to save America and our Freedom is to fight the lies with the truth (and by joining the NRA).

Paul Joseph Watson

Image
Paul Joseph Watson is another of of my favourite YouTubers. He discusses topics that are... mostly political and controversial. I love him for his sense of humour and all of the topics he focuses on. In this video, he explains how the "Ugandan Knuckles" meme isn't racist. Sure, people that aren't Ugandan are making Ugandan accents, but that's not racist. That's just having some good ol' fashioned fun. I recommend watching PJW if you have a slightly dark sense humour and more conservative views.

The Boring Company (not a) Flamethrower

Image
Elon Musk is an absolute madman... He announced that if and when he sold 50,000 Boring Company hats, that he would sell a flamethrower. Well, nobody believed him... until now. He announced them a week ago and now all 20,000 have already sold out. They sold for $500 per, and with 20,000 of them that equals $10,000,000. That was a very easy way to fund money for The Boring Company, of which looks very promising. I hope to see Elon doing more hilarious stuff in the future. What could he possibly sell next?

Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell

Image
Kurzgesagt is one of my favourite YouTubers, he always talks about the most interesting scientific problems and/or theories. In this video he explains how alien life would devestate humanity as we currently know it. I highly recommend watching it before I spoil any more. All of his videos are absolutely amazing, and the art style is great.
